Handcut Typography
This complete set of uppercase typography was hand-cut from 1x2” rectangles of construction paper and then folded at key points to create negative space. Small slits were cut to allow for more intricate letterforms such as the H, E, and Z. The forms were then photographed and scanned. Additionally, the scanned forms were turned into a proper .OTF and .TTF file for use in applications such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. You can download the typeface at the bottom of this page.
