Hummel Airport

I reworked a logo for a small local airport in Germantown, Ohio owned by my partner’s longtime friend, Richard Hummel. Richard Hummel, which also operates under the name Hummel Airport, is located in Germantown, Ohio. This organization primarily operates in the Airports, Flying Fields, and Services business/industry within the Transportation by Air sector. This organization has been operating for approximately 53 years. The small airport has two grass runways that are fully operational and can operate various air traffic. Richard’s family has owned the home near the runway since 1948.

The airport has been in operation since 1964 and is the 64th registered airport in the state of Ohio. Hummel Airport also hosts “WORKS” - Western Ohio Radio Kontrol Society, an RC plane club. With 65 years of continuous operation, WORKS has become one of Ohio's oldest Flying Clubs.  We are a chartered member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA Club #524) with a full-size, private flying field located between Germantown & Carlisle, Ohio.
