Olympic Bid: Móntreal-Toronto

For this logo design, I aimed to blend the iconic Canadian maple leaf with landmark buildings from Montréal and Toronto, creating a dynamic and recognizable symbol that aligns with the Olympic Games' theme. The skyline within the leaf features the CN Tower from Toronto and two notable buildings from Montréal, using their forms to create an intriguing negative space. The logo is rendered entirely in red, reflecting the symbolic color of Canada, and ensuring the skyline's complexity stands out. For the wordmark, I chose “Futura PT Condensed Extra Bold,” which complements the leaf's intricate design, while the recommended typeface for other communications is “Barlow Condensed Regular” for its harmonious contrast.
