Wheels of Savannah - Visual Info

The project involved exploring Savannah to document a diverse array of wheels. Instead of photographing every vehicle encountered, the focus was on capturing unique and uncommon wheels, such as those on rare sports cars, horse-drawn carriages, and even steam locomotives. The project also included wheels from less conventional objects like skateboards, unicycles, and paddle boats. The goal was to highlight the individuality of each wheel and its connection to its vehicle.

The final poster design, measuring 34x48", presents over 160 photographs, organized into 12 color-coordinated categories. The layout features rows and columns of circular photos, each bordered by a color-coded line and accompanied by a list of details, including the make, model, and location of each wheel. The design emphasizes the diversity and significance of wheels, showcasing them as both functional and visually intriguing elements that have revolutionized travel.
