These are a few of the 1:18 scale models in my collection. They include the BMW Z8, the Audi TT Roadster, the BMW Z4 Roadster, and the Mercedes-Benz 300SL. These three German convertibles represent a carefree, top-down experience for driving enthusiasts, and every hairdresser’s worst nightmare. This photography photoshoot was a fun way to showcase all of the models together and on their own to emphasize their unique form and design language, as well as their inherent similarities. The backdrop is simple without additional distractions to highlight the bright colors of the models. I hope to ultimately photoshop realistic environments into these photos with the scale models for emphasis.
